EUROLEAGUE – Europe braces for another Maccabi v Panathinaikos title showdown.
BARCELONA (Euroleague) - Maccabi Tel Aviv coach David Blatt is relieved there won't be thousands of his club's fans walking around Las Ramblas in Barcelona for the rest of the weekend knowing their team has no chance of capturing a European title.
The Israeli club blew out Real Madrid in the second half of their Euroleague Final Four game on Friday en route to an 82-63 victory and will, indeed, go into battle on Sunday to fight for the prestigious crown.
